Meditation does not discriminate, there are no boundaries or limitations for adults and young people can gain the benefits. Meditation has proved itself to be effective, but because no two people are the same, what may be a benefit for one person may not be the same for another.
We all have different live styles, expectations and challenges in life. Scientists inform us that we build a new body every eleven months; on a physical level we are only months old at any time through out the year. Meditation is not a hypnotic state, by quieting the conscious mind you allow the subconscious mind or higher self, to come forward. Meditation helps to get rid of the darkness, overcome your personal negative challenges. Affirm the positive and the negative will vanish. Meditation has been around for centuries, developing in the Eastern countries especially among the Monks and mystics.
The practice from the far east developed and became the central feature of the yoga way of life. This came to Britain with the Theosophists in the late 19th century. When we often think of meditation the lotus position comes to mind and goes out again, many people think I can't sit like that, therefore I am unable to practice meditation. This is an negative energy and a false belief.
The new meditation programme is developed for everyone, regardless how to want to sit. I sit in a very comfy arm chair that allows my feet to be flat on the floor or a cushion.
The practice is a very powerful self healing programme, that is best practiced on a individual basis, rather then in a group. We all have different issues, experiences, secrets we would not be comfortable sharing with other group members. You do not have to even have to share them with me. The techniques involved can help
